Clark Jones, CEO of Ley Law, has built a distinguished career in Criminal Defense and Family Law across Eastern North Carolina, known for his dedication to clients and his commitment to achieving justice. Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Family Community Services from East Carolina University in December 2016, Clark pursued his Juris Doctor degree at J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University, completing it in December 2019.

G. Clark Jones, CEO of Ley Law, has built a distinguished career in Criminal Defense and Family Law across Eastern North Carolina, known for his dedication to clients and commitment to justice. Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Family Community Services from East Carolina University in December 2016, Clark went on to pursue his Juris Doctor at the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University. There, he was awarded the prestigious scholarship and honor of being a Leadership Fellow, completing his law degree in December 2019.

Since being admitted to the North Carolina Bar in August 2020, Clark has amassed a series of notable achievements and recognitions. In 2024, he was honored as an Elite Lawyer in Family Law by Elite Lawyers of America and named a Top 40 under 40 in Criminal Defense by the National Trial Lawyers in 2023. He also earned the Motor Vehicle Top 25 designation from National Trial Lawyers and received the Clients’ Choice Award by Avvo in 2023. His commitment to professional excellence includes extensive training, demonstrated through his certifications in Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement and DWI Detection by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and his membership with the National College of DUI Defense.

Starting his legal journey in 2014, Clark’s approach emphasizes empathy and transparency. As a seasoned radio show host on Ley Law Radio (La Invasora 104.7), Clark reaches a broad audience, sharing insights on family and criminal law topics relevant to the community he serves.

Abigail Killinger

Abigail Killinger is an Associate Attorney at Ley Law, where she brings a client-centered approach to her practice areas, which include Criminal Defense, Family Law, and Civil Matters. Abigail graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Political Science from East Carolina University in 2020, where she was awarded the John P. East Scholarship. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2023. During her time there, she received the prestigious Kathleen Fisher Kelly Academic Merit-Based Scholarship and distinguished herself as a member of the BYU Law Review, serving as both Associate and Executive Editor.

In addition to her editorial work, Abigail was a member of the Moot Court Team, earning “Runner-Up Best Brief” in the 2L Moot Court Competition. She also served on the Student Bar Association as a 3L Representative and took part in a seminar on International Peace Resolutions, focusing on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which included a month-long study trip to Israel after her final year of law school. Following law school, she served as a Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of North Carolina for the Honorable Philip E. Berger, Jr.

Abigail is an active member of the North Carolina Bar Association and values building close connections with her clients to guide them through challenging legal processes. Outside of her legal career, Abigail enjoys traveling with her husband, Walt, and spending time with her miniature dachshund, Ellie. She loves baking, particularly cookies and sweets, and as a former college athlete, she’s an enthusiastic player of slow-pitch softball and pickleball.

Corey is a graduate of both East Carolina University and Campbell Law School.
 
A native of rural Roper, North Carolina, with a population of about five hundred people, Corey's inspiration to become an attorney began on his family's small farm and was fueled by his humble beginnings. Ever since he can remember, Corey has dreamt of returning home to Eastern North Carolina to serve those who need it most. Corey has formerly represented the injured and wronged at Ricci Law Firm in Greenville North Carolina, and has prosecuted a wide variety of criminal cases in Beaufort, Martin, Hyde, Tyrell, Washington, and Pitt counties. Both Corey's prior experience in the field of injury law and his time as a prosecutor have prepared him to win in the courtroom for the clients of Ley Law. 
 
In Eastern North Carolina, Corey is known as an intelligent, courteous, competitive, and dedicated trial lawyer who will do whatever it takes both inside and outside the courtroom to secure justice and the best results possible.
 
Corey truly loves his community and the people that he serves.
