Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Family Community Services from East Carolina University in December 2016, Clark pursued his Juris Doctor degree at J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University, completing it in December 2019.

G. Clark Jones, CEO of Ley Law, has built a distinguished career in Criminal Defense and Family Law across Eastern North Carolina, known for his dedication to clients and commitment to justice. Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Family Community Services from East Carolina University in December 2016, Clark went on to pursue his Juris Doctor at the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University. There, he was awarded the prestigious scholarship and honor of being a Leadership Fellow, completing his law degree in December 2019.

Since being admitted to the North Carolina Bar in August 2020, Clark has amassed a series of notable achievements and recognitions. In 2024, he was honored as an Elite Lawyer in Family Law by Elite Lawyers of America and named a Top 40 under 40 in Criminal Defense by the National Trial Lawyers in 2023. He also earned the Motor Vehicle Top 25 designation from National Trial Lawyers and received the Clients’ Choice Award by Avvo in 2023. His commitment to professional excellence includes extensive training, demonstrated through his certifications in Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement and DWI Detection by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and his membership with the National College of DUI Defense.

Starting his legal journey in 2014, Clark’s approach emphasizes empathy and transparency. With nine years of experience practicing throughout Eastern North Carolina, she has built a reputation as a trusted advocate in high-conflict child custody disputes, child support cases, and matters involving domestic violence.

K. Brooke Johnson

Known for her strategic approach to litigation, Ms. Johnson handles difficult cases with both firmness and empathy. Her legal skill extends to the appellate level. She successfully argued Rook v. Rook, 290 N.C. App. 512 (2023), a precedent-setting decision that reflects her depth of legal analysis and her commitment to advancing her clients' interests at every level of the court system.

Ms. Johnson earned her Bachelor of Arts from East Carolina University in 2013 and her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2016. A lifelong Pirate who proudly bleeds purple and gold, she was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar that same year and has devoted her career to serving families across the region.

Outside of the office, Ms. Johnson is the proud mother of two young sons, an experience that deepens her understanding of what is truly at stake in family law matters. Menna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, from East Carolina University in December 2018, followed by a Master of Public Administration and Certificate in Security Studies from ECU in December 2020. Recognized for academic excellence, she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and received the Robert Sharpe Political Science Scholarship. Prior to law school, she gained valuable hands-on experience working as an Executive Legal Assistant at a criminal defense firm, deepening her understanding of criminal law from the ground up.

Menna went on to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and graduated in May 2025 in the top 25% of her class. A proud member of the North Carolina State Bar, she is committed to guiding clients through the complexities of the legal system with skill, dedication, and care.
